For Immediate Release — Tuesday, October 6, 2009 marks the auspicious birthday party of well-balanced Libra, comic book lover, and DJ, Clay N. Ferno (The Boston Phoenix put his face on the cover of it's paper in 2005 posing the question "Is this the Most Popular Man in Boston?). Wishing a four-color party, Clay assembled a blow-out punk, hip hop, and rock and roll calamity sure shake the foundations of Lower Allston's much lauded drinking establishment, O'Briens Pub. DJ Tim Kelly from WMBR's Late Riser's Club will be the ultimate judge of the competition set for this evening as weirdo doo-wop punk and rollers The Sprained Ankles square off against bizarro old school hip hop live act Wasted Talent (featuring Nabo Rawk and Paul Foley). Truly there will be mayhem, chaos, and sideline entertainment not to be missed! Clay also wants you to look at his flyer for the show as this truly is an accurate snapshot of what will be happening at 3 Harvard Ave in Allston on October 6. Only one of the non-human pals will be declared the shot-caller, the baller, or the cream of the crop. That's right, it all comes down to Randy (Rock and Roll Pizza Wolf) vs. Gorilla (previously unknown)!!! Pick your favorite non-human pal to be the victor!
